Your unforgettable journey begins with a stop in historic Boulder City, Continuing on to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead for a brief overview and photo opportunity. Travel Diamond Bar Road (Indian Hwy.) and experience the incredible beauty of the Joshua Tree Forest framed within the backdrop of the towering Grand Wash Cliffs. Suddenly, the Grand Canyon West Rim, native home of the Hualapai tribe, magically appears. Stand in awe, as The Grand Canyon's natural beauty remains nearly untouched by man.

You will observe one of Mother Nature's most splendid spectacles - the Colorado River - running through this mile-deep chasm as it has for millions of years.

On the crest of the Grand Canyon, your Helicopter awaits you for a once-in-a-lifetime, 7 minute, 4,000-foot descent to the mighty Colorado River below. At the river's edge, you'll board the coolest boat on the river, a relaxing Pontoon Boat! Then skim across the water grasping the inner majesty and mystery of this fabulous chasm. Don't forget your camera!! No crowds, no guardrails and stunning views as far as the eye can see. All this and you're back before dinner! Lunch included.

Tour Features:

The following is a list of features that this tour includes.

A brief stop, and drive through historic Boulder City.

A photo opportunity. Stop at the incredible Hoover Dam, with views of Lake Mead and the Colorado River. ( about 10 minutes)

A 15 mile drive (dirt road) through the Joshua Tree forest with views of the magnificent Grand Wash Cliffs as the backdrop, simply beautiful.

A delicious lunch served at the Grand Canyon.

A fantastic 7 minute, 4,000' descent in a Sundance helicopter to the edge of the Colorado River.

An exciting 15 minute pontoon boat ride down the Colorado River with canyon walls on either side.

Another short helicopter ride, ascending back to the summit of the Grand Canyon.

Throughout the day, expert narration by a professional tour guide, featuring highlights of the history, geology, flora, and fauna of the area, and much more.

You'll travel in a luxuriously equipped (leather seats), fully air-conditioned or heated in the Winter, Suburban vehicle that is outfitted for gentle off-road exploration and is driven by a friendly, knowledgeable guide that is ready to answer your questions and fill you in on all the geology, history, flora and fauna of the Southwest.

NOTE: There is no time for a hike. The hike is only available on our standard Grand Canyon West Rim tour by SUV.
